hello , I am new here but I have been a Donnie Iris fan for a long time .

I sent an email to Rock Candy , which is a CD Company, and said to them that DI and the Cruisers albums could use the CD treatment . Amazingly , I got a reply back and RC said they were looking into the Donnie Iris catalog . Maybe if a few more people would contact them , they will make it happen .

info@rockcandyrecords.com is the email

http://www.rockcandyrecords.com/ is the website .

Thanks for letting me join .

Sounds interesting, however over the years there have been several labels that have had interest in releasing the two never-released-on-CD albums, however the guarantees that Universal requested were deemed unreasonable.

You may be right , but it is nice to know that there is still interest in Donnie's music on a bigger scale .

Indeed. We can all keep our fingers crossed that eventually these discs see the light of day.

I have all the vinyl that I recorded onto a stand alone home CD burner so I can listen to it all on my CD players , but it would be nice to have the official releases .

I actually bought a CD copy of Fortune 410 and the High & the Mighty from Gemm.com a few years back.
they were marked as "remastered" / although I knew they had to be vinyl transfers, they were well done !
great audio and the cd artwork was perfect !

I just checked, and looks like Gemm isn't around anymore.

I have seen those "CD's" on Ebay . I wonder if they are the same ?
