Since Jimmy Krenn is unfortunately no longer with WDVE, I'm buiding up my collection of the Morning Show's CD releases. I've tried searching for a complete list of them, but I can't find one anywhere. Can anyone help? Both Paulsen/Krenn and Krenn/Baumann would be appreciated if possible. Thanks in advance!

I've not seen anything out there, but that sounds like something worthwhile to put together.

Perhaps you could list all that you have and then we could try to fill in the missing ones.

Amazon.com has some listed and I see some other places that have them on cassette (were they all released on CD even?)

From an article in the Greensburg Tribune Review:

A lengend of Pittsburgh radio is back in a familiar place. Scott Paulsen returns Monday to WDVE-FM, where his morning show ruled the airwaves when he left Dec. 31, 1999 to travel.

He is back full-time as an executive contirbutor to the station and the morning show, which Monday also introduces Pittsburgh comedian Billy Crawford as part of the wake-up team than includes regulars Randy Baumann, Val Porter and Mike Prisuta.

The article goes on to say:

I (Paulsen) will be producing what they use on the Morning Show and during the day, writing pieces for the show and the Web site.

Sounds really good to me!

Gina

I'm looking forward to Scott Paulsen's return, but I'm having mixed emotions, what with Jim Krenn gone now.

Maybe he'll be back someday like Scott, but we'll see. Only time will tell. Right now, I'm giving the Morning Show the benefit of the doubt.

I'm enjoying new versions of:

"My name is JT"
"Spit choke and puke"
"Judge Jimbo Browntown"

All of the releases I have were released on CD, though getting the first release on CD is not easy. It was a very limited release. It's only one I have on cassette only. Looks like I'm missing at least one release in the middle though. The ' Eleven' release was release number 11.

Cool list Ed.

Another one I've seen is called "Wizards of Odd".

This page has it for sale:

Now THAT's an impressive list. With the covers and all. I do have Wizards of Odd somewhere, come to think of it.

Hey, Were you ever able to complete your collection of Paulsen and Krenn? I'd love to get a copy of them if possible and not too much trouble. I have been looking all over the web for these. They must live on.

Dan
